Melvin J. Cobb

I am currently a professor at Long Beach City College where I teach computer education and critical thinking. In addition, I also teach at California State University Long Beach where my area of specialization is educational technology and digital literacies.

 

Prior to working in higher education, I taught at various levels in the public education system including  high school and adult basic education.

 

Before becoming an educator, I served as a full-time minister working with young people and their families. For several years I served as a campus evangelist at a community college in Southern California .

 

Aside from writing, I enjoy coaching football. I currently coach the freshmen football team at Pacifica High School in Garden Grove , Ca.

 

I’ve been married to my wife Ramona since April of 1992 and we are the proud parents of four beautiful children.
